Japan vs Croatia live stream: How can I watch World Cup 2022 game for FREE on TV in UK today?

apan look to see off European opposition for the third time as they face Croatia in the last-16 of the World Cup today.

After starting their campaign in Qatar with victory over Germany, Japan went into their final group-stage match against Spain needing to pull off another huge upset and they did just that, once again coming from behind.

Those two wins will ensure they go up against 2018 World Cup runners-up Croatia full of confidence, even if they are once again the underdogs. Japan are hoping to make it to the quarter-finals for the first time ever.

Croatia played out a draw with Belgium last time out to send Roberto Martinez’s home and go through after finishing second in Group F.

Two of their three matches in Qatar so far have been goalless, the only real excitement coming in their big win over Canada.

They certainly have the experience and tournament know-how, but now come up against a vibrant Japanese side hunting another shock result.

Where to watch Japan vs Croatia

TV channel: In the UK, the match will be televised free-to-air and live on BBC One, with coverage beginning at 2.30pm GMT ahead of a 3pm kick-off.

Live stream: Fans can also catch the game live online via the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport website.
