The Selecao put on a masterclass of attacking football in the last-16 stage, tearing South Korea apart and finally arriving in Qatar .
While they had been somewhat underwhelming until Monday night, Tite’s side now look like they are approaching their best form, an ominous prospect for those looking to challenge.
Croatia squeezed through on penalties against Japan and do have previous in forcing their way into the deepest stages of tournaments.
While not always the most convincing, they made it to the final in Russia four years ago despite not winning any of their three knockout games in 90 minutes.

Croatia vs Brazil team news
Mateo Kovacic was substituted against Japan and was thought to be carrying an injury, while Luka Modric was also forced off. Both are expected to be fit to start against Brazil, however.
Left-back Borna Sosa (illness) and fellow defender Josip Stanicic (muscle) both missed the last-16, though could well return today.
For Brazil, Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles are out for the rest of the World Cup due to knee injuries.
Alex Sandro is yet to return from a hip issue but could replace Danilo or Eder Militao if available today.
Croatia vs Brazil prediction
Brazil look to have clicked, while Croatia rather limped into the last eight. Though they are a team to be feared, Brazil will surely have too much.
Brazil to win, 2-0.
