Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are amongst the busiest clubs going at the moment as we enter the second week of the January transfer window. All three are eager to strengthen their squads this month in pursuit of respective glory, with the Blues leading the charge. With Joao Felix’s loan move to west London now confirmed, Graham Potter is reportedly looking to bring Leandro Trossard to Stamford Bridge too. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang meanwhile could make a return to Spain, with Barcelona interested in a shock move.
Arsenal are said to FINALLY be closing in on the signing Mykhaylo Mudryk after previously having seen two bids for the winger rejected. With Chelsea – who were also keen – welcoming Felix, the Gunners could now have a free run.
Over at Spurs, Pedro Porro is a target, though Chelsea look set to rival them for the Sporting full-back. Harry Kane continues to be linked away with both Real Madrid and Manchester United – who have agreed a deal for Wout Weghorst – said to be interested. Aubameyang not the issue amid Barcelona rumours, says Murphy
Danny Murphy has insisted that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s lack of goals for Chelsea are not all his fault amid talks of a move back to Barcelona.
He told talkSPORT: “Aubameyang has been a one-in-two goalscorer for his whole career and he’s done it in the Premier League. If you get the right service to him and play more progressive football than Chelsea do, he’ll score goals. I’ve got no doubt about it.
“I can only go by what I see on the pitch, and the last few times I’ve seen him, he’s forever making runs and not getting the ball.
“The home game against Man City, run it back. Watch how many times he runs in behind and doesn’t get the ball. Put him in the City side and he would score a bagful.”
Walker-Peters spotted by Chelsea
Chelsea are in the race to sign Kyle Walker-Peters from Southampton.
The ex-Tottenham defender is said by talkSPORT to be stalling on signing a new contract amid their relegation battle.
Spurs and Manchester City are also taking an interest.
Rabiot lays out demands
Adrien Rabiot will demand a £170,000 weekly wage when joining a new club in the summer.
The Juventus star’s contract is up with Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool among those linked.

A new contract to 2027 and chunky pay rise are set to be offered to the Moroccan.

Capital rivals circle for Trossard
Arsenal and Tottenham are circling over Leandro Trossard amid an issue with the Brighton winger.
He is said to have fallen out with Roberto De Zerbi and missed the club’s FA Cup win at Middlesbrough.
TalkSPORT claim there is no interest from Chelsea in Trossard at this point.
Dumfries available… but expensive
La Gazzetta dello Sport say Inter Milan have accepted Denzel Dumfries could leave for Chelsea this month.

But they will have to fork out £51m for Dumfries’ signature.
Barcelona defender catches Arsenal attention
Eric Garcia has entered Arsenal’s radar.
The Spanish defender is being eyed for a loan or a permanent move to bolster their Premier League title bid, Sport claim.
However, Barcelona boss Xavi does not want to let Garcia go.
Karsdorp on Fulham radar
Fulham are looking towards Rick Karsdorp after so far failing to sign Cedric Soares from Arsenal.
A fee as low as £5m could persuade Roma to sell the Dutch right-back, according to TMW, with Marseille also interested.
Cedric’s wage demands have scuppered his chances of a move across London and Fulham are also reportedly keen on Norwich’s Max Aarons.
