Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all still hunting huge signings with just two days to go now before the January transfer deadline. Arsenal are not giving up on Moises Caicedo after having a second bid for the Ecuador midfielder worth around £70million rejected by Brighton. A third bid is believed to be imminent.
Chelsea have re-opened talks over Enzo Fernandez as they also look to make a huge splash in midfield. The Blues are increasingly confident they can still sign Argentina’s World Cup winner before the market shuts for business at 11pm GMT on Tuesday night by offering more than his £105m release clause. Chelsea have also been interested in Everton’s Amadou Onana and Caicedo team-mate Alexis Mac Allister.
Tottenham’s swoop for Pedro Porro is in major doubt but they remain in talks to salvage a deal. Meanwhile, they have reportedly tabled a bid for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie and Jude Bellingham’s younger brother Jobe. Spurs have also agreed a fee for young Chelsea striker Jude Soonsup-Bell. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours, gossip and deals as they happen live below!

Arsenal could turn to Tielemans
Arsenal are open to making a late move for Youri Tielemans should their pursuit of Moises Caicedo be unsuccessful.
The Leicester midfielder has long been linked with the Gunners, and he is expected to leave the Foxes when his contract expires at the end of the season.
90min claim that Arsenal could turn to Tielemans if they fail to land Caicedo, but Leicester, who sit one point off the relegation zone, would only consider letting the midfielder leave for big, big money.
Gil to rejoin Sevilla
Tottenham winger Bryan Gil is poised to return to former club Sevilla on a straight loan deal for the rest of the season, writes Dan Kilpatrick.
Gil joined Spurs from Sevilla in the summer of 2021 but has struggled to win over manager Antonio Conte, and spent the second half of last season on loan back in LaLiga at Valencia.
The 21-year-old impressed in the 4-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace earlier this month, when he was involved in three of Spurs’ four goals, but he wants to play regularly and Arnaut Danjuma’s arrival on loan from Villarreal last week will further limit his minutes.
Inter eye Maguire move
Inter Milan are interested in a late swoop for Harry Maguire.
The Daily Mail report the Serie A side want to bring Maguire to Italy on loan, with the defender’s reputation still strong in Europe after his impressive displays at major tournaments.
However, it’s believed Maguire wants to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his place, at least until the summer.
Chelsea growing in confidence over Fernandez deal
Chelsea are becoming “really optimistic” over agreeing a deal for Enzo Fernandez.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who reports that a €120m bid has been made verbally to Benfica.
Chelsea are pushing hard to make this move happen and have been encourgaed by some of the engagement with Benfica, but are still waiting for a final decision.
Cancelo to make shock Bayern move
Joao Cancelo is on the verge of completing a shock move to Bayern Munich.
The Athletic report that Cancelo will join the Bundesliga on loan for the rest of the season, with the deal likely to include a buy option in the summer in the region of £60m.
The full-back has struggled for minutes at Manchester City since the World Cup, but it’s still a very surprising move!
Marquinhos set for Norwich loan
Arsenal winger Marquinhos has agreed to join Norwich on loan until the end of the season, writes Simon Collings.
The Brazilian is travelling to the Championship club on Monday morning in order to undergo a medical and finalise the deal.
The 19-year-old is joining Norwich on a straight loan until the summer, with no option-to-buy clause included.
Marquinhos joined Arsenal last summer from Sao Paulo for around £3million after they beat off competition from Wolves.
Chelsea make huge Fernandez offer
Chelsea have reportedly made a €120m bid for Enzo Fernandez.
That’s according to reports in Argentina, with it claimed that Chelsea would pay some of the money up front and the rest in five instalments. There are no bonuses or add-ons included in the deal.
Over to Benfica to see if they accept…
Fresneda staying in Spain
Ivan Fresneda has indicated his intention to stay at Real Valladolid despite interest from Arsenal.
The Gunners, along with Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle, have all been linked with a move for the 18-year-old during this month’s transfer window.
Standard Sport understands Premier League leaders Arsenal have spoken to Fresneda’s representatives as they attempt to replace Cedric Soares.
While signing autographs after leaving training with the Spanish club, Fresneda appears to have told Valladolid fans he will not be leaving, while Fabrizio Romano reports the teenager is now not expected to make a move.
Arsenal to make third Caicedo bid
Arsenal are ready to make a third bid for Moises Caicedo.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke claims that the Gunners will offer £70m plus £5m in add-ons as they look to finally land the midfielder.
While Brighton maintain they won’t sell, it’s claimed they could be tempted by £80m.
Ronaldo to make Europe return?
Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Europe at the end of his Al-Nassr contract.
That’s according to his manager Rudi Garcia, who is confident Ronaldo will still have plenty to offer when his deal expires in the summer of 2025.
“He is one of the best players in the world,” Garcia said.
“He will not finish his career at Al Nassr, he will return to Europe.”
