The Dubai Marathon is back, after 1,115 days! Registration is open until February 11, 2023, online. There is a new course, some exciting athletes and the confidence of knowing that you are running on the oldest and the largest marathon in all of the Middle East!

The event will be live-streamed, with English commentary by Paula Radcliffe and Tim Hutchings. This is the official YouTube of the 2023 Dubai Marathon: https://www.youtube.com/@dubaimarathon-official6235.  UTC 03:00-06:00, Feb. 12, 2023, or 5 PM Central US time, 6 PM Eastern US Time and 3 PM Pacific Time on February 11, 2023! Do not miss it!

It has been announced that the next edition of The Dubai Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, February 12, will be held at Expo City Dubai.

While previous editions of the Dubai Marathon have been held in various areas of Dubai, particularly in Jumeirah, it has been decided to organize for the first time the latest edition of the most famous marathon in the region at Expo City Dubai.

This will allow participants to enjoy the Expo area and its wonderful landmarks as the event returns for the first time since 2020 following the lifting of the pandemic preventive measures.

The Dubai Expo City provides a host of wonderful and iconic areas for the event, a new setting for running in the marathon (42.195km), the 10km Road Race and the 4km Fun Run, as well as spacious areas for parking and other organizational activities.

Runners registered for this week’s Dubai Marathon will compete over a new-look layout starting and finishing at Expo City Dubai. Getting underway on Sunday (February 12), the 2023 Dubai Marathon will see the 42.195km race based at Expo City Dubai and offer a route that will take runners out and onto the fast and modern roads around the site passing Dubai Investments Park and Jumeirah Golf Estates before finishing in front of the iconic Wasl Dome.
