In Fall of 2021, we had the legendary Doug Miller of CORE Nutritionals on Episode #050 of the PricePlow Podcast to talk about the inflationary shifts in the market. Two major things transpired:
Core FURY Australia has officially come Stateside… and they’ve brought some new flavors while they’re at it!
- Protein prices were on the rise, and Core was the first to publicly announce they were temporarily increasing prices (as opposed to opting for “shrinkflation”)
- Creatine and citrulline raw material prices were also drastically high, and CORE was considering a reformulation of their FURY pre-workout supplement, which contained both.
Since then, things have come full circle:
- Core recently announced that they were reducing protein prices, as things have begun to normalize again![1]
- Core did reformulate their flagship pre-workout, Core FURY, titling it “Core Fury V2” – and it no longer has creatine inside.
But… the circle isn’t complete until Americans can get a creatine-based pre-workout from the brand, and it’s now available everywhere thanks to some logistical ingenuity:
Core Fury Australian Edition Now Available in the US with New Flavors
It’s no secret that Australians love Core Nutritionals – they do exceptionally well Down Under (interestingly, so do the recent ‘Merica Labz pre-workouts). So the Ozzies have always had their own version of Core FURY, dubbed Core FURY Australia. And guess what it has — both citrulline and creatine… alongside a solid 350 milligram total dose of caffeine in a blend.
Best of all – it has some new flavors, and they’re now all available stateside for us Yanks! The formula’s covered below, but first, let’s show you PricePlow’s coupon-powered prices and have you sign up for our Core Nutritionals alerts, because they have something huge coming within a month of this release:

The Ozzies Share with the Yanks
It’s quite nice of our Australian allies to share some of their prized pre-workouts with the Americans – it’s often the other way around. More options means more satisfied customers, and this is a globally-compliant formula that’s built around a great blend.
On the note of blends, we’re huge fans of the caffeine anhydrous / ZumXR combination, which will definitely be longer-lasting than what most athletes are used to — we generally don’t see this high of a dose in the extended release portion.

Doug Miller and his team at CORE Nutritionals always find a way to figure it out – and it’s time to get an update from the Boss! Listen to him talk about the 2021 supply chain mess in Episode #050 of the PricePlow Podcast
And even though it’s not a clinical dose, it’s nice to get a bit of extra creatine and magnesium back into pre-workouts. Should you take more creatine? Almost definitely, unless you’re eating about 2 pounds of red meat a day. But will we ever say no to a bit extra? Absolutely not.
Aside from the citrulline, Doug Miller’s been on the record numerous times explaining his love for VasoDrive-AP, so it’s no surprise seeing it here. Take enough water, and the betaine should provide a bit of ‘swole’ pump action too.
Nootropic support is also strong, with two dopaminergic ingredients in L-tyrosine and citicoline that we’re confident will leave you feeling great. And both are very well-dosed.
All in all, this is a really solid formula, and we’re not surprised CORE decided to bring it to America.
